The experience in the Pousada Mamori was simply great!
The guide, really understood what I was looking for and he did his best to satisfy everybody! When I’ll think about a jungle man I’ll think about him, he really knows how to behave in the forest. I will never forget the first night we spent in the jungle and I really enjoyed his company, his stories about jungle life and his jungle secret. The second day he took me to the house of Lucivaldo, a native guy, where I spent the three days remaining. We did trekking into the jungle, we paddle a lot in small rivers during the day and the night and I learned a lot from him.
Even if difficult we was able to see a lot of animals: tarantulas, monkeys, slots, caimans and many birds.
I’ll always regard Sami as a friend and not as a guide ‘cause that’s his spirit and it’s not an easy thing to find in a man!
There’s just one thing I regret about this jungle experience and is that I spent there only five days; next time I’ll come for at least one month!

I had a wonderful time at the Posada Mamori.
The lodge was a great place for birdwatching with amazing views of the river.
We went on boat cruises everyday and Samir was a great guide in the jungle always ready to answer questions. Native people are very nice and I learned a lot from having contacts with them. I ate beautiful fishes.
I slept in the jungle in camp and listening to the sounds was crazy and I enjoyed sleeping in hammocks.
I would like to come back for longer time.
